Brayden Burries

Brayden Burries, a San Bernardino, California native and 2025 California Mr. Basketball out of Eleanor Roosevelt High School, was a McDonald's All-American before enrolling at Arizona. In his lone season under Tommy Lloyd he averaged a team-high 16.1 points with 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists on 49.1% shooting and 39.1% from three across 39 games, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors and helping the Wildcats reach their first Final Four in 25 years. A 6'4", 205-pound combo guard, Burries is a physical downhill scorer with improved perimeter shooting and defensive tools, though a modest 2.4 assists and average creation for teammates flag his fit as a primary initiator. Milwaukee, retooling after trading Giannis Antetokounmpo, selected him tenth overall in 2026 to add backcourt shooting and shot creation, projecting him as a scoring guard who can grow into a two-way role.
