Ebuka Okorie

Ebuka Okorie was raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, in a family of Nigerian descent, and emerged as New Hampshire's Gatorade Player of the Year at Brewster Academy. As a Stanford freshman he led the ACC in scoring at 23.2 points per game, adding 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals on 46/35/83 shooting, earning First Team All-ACC and the conference's All-Rookie Team. A shifty, downhill scorer, Okorie pressures the rim, draws fouls, and creates separation with a tight handle and change-of-speed bursts. His outside consistency, shot selection, and defensive discipline remain works in progress at 6'2". Oklahoma City drafted him 17th overall in the 2026 NBA Draft before his rights reached Detroit, where he fits as a bench scoring guard who can attack second units and grow alongside the Pistons' young core.
