Elijah Harkless

Elijah Harkless is a defense-first guard who climbed the hard way — Cal State Northridge, then Oklahoma, then a final college run at UNLV — before turning pro undrafted. His calling card is on-ball pressure: the point-of-attack defender coaches trust to pick up full court and take the toughest assignment. Utah signed him to a two-way at the start of 2025, and he rewarded it by winning G League Most Improved Player and making an All-G League team with the Salt Lake City Stars. That's real developmental progress, not just a counting-stat bump. Through 2025-26 he stayed on the Jazz two-way, still working to turn defensive value into a genuine NBA rotation role. The swing skill is his jumper: if the outside shot becomes reliable, the defense alone can keep him employed.
