The tools that made him dominant in college — soft touch, back-to-the-basket craft, sharp passing out of the post — translate on paper, but his rookie year underlined the league's real question about him: whether his foot speed holds up defending the modern pick-and-roll. He logged only a handful of NBA games, spending most of 2025-26 developing with the G League's Birmingham Squadron.
