Immanuel Quickley

Quickley spent three seasons in New York averaging 12.9 points off the bench before Toronto acquired him in the package that sent OG Anunoby the other way — the rare trade where both sides got a starter. Given the keys immediately, he averaged 18.6 points and 6.8 assists across 38 games in his first Raptors season. He has since set career highs in starts, at 70, and in assists and steals, at 5.9 and 1.3 in nearly 32 minutes a night. The bet Toronto made was that a productive sixth man would scale into a lead guard, and the assist numbers say it has. Few sixth men survive that promotion; the ones who do usually did the passing all along.
