Jaden Ivey

Ivey went fifth overall in 2022 into the same Detroit rebuild as Cade Cunningham, and injuries have shaped his career more than anything he has done on the floor. He made 33 appearances for the Pistons in 2025-26 at 8.2 points a night, then was traded to Chicago on February 3, 2026 in a three-team deal that also involved Minnesota, with Kevin Huerter going the other way. He played four games for the Bulls, averaging 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists, before a left knee injury ended his season in March. The speed is genuinely rare; the availability has not been, and at his age that is still a solvable problem rather than a verdict.
