John Poulakidas

Poulakidas is a shooter who took the long road. Undrafted out of Yale in 2025, he bounced through the Clippers' summer roster and an Exhibit 10 before Dallas signed him to a two-way deal in March 2026, and he made his NBA debut the same day. The sample is small, 13 games and 8.8 points a night, but it's real, and it fits the scouting book: a movement shooter whose stroke translated straight from the Ivy League, where he averaged 19.4 points as a senior and was named tournament MVP. Ball knowledge remembers his signature night, 28 points and six threes to knock off Auburn in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Whether the two-way firms into something more depends on the shot holding up against NBA closeouts; for now he splits time with the Texas Legends.
