What separates him is the passing — a seven-footer who works as a connective hub, reading second defenders and swinging the ball rather than just finishing plays. The jumper is still streaky (33% from three) and he isn't a rim-protecting anchor, so his defensive fit will shape how big a role he holds. But a skilled, mobile five who can initiate offense is a modern building block, and Utah has one on a rookie deal.
