Micah Potter

Potter is the kind of floor-spacing big who spent years proving the modern game had a role for him. After a rookie cup of coffee with Detroit and three seasons shuttling between Utah and the Salt Lake City Stars, he opened 2025-26 back in the G League with the Austin Spurs, then turned a late-December call-up into the most stable stretch of his career. Indiana signed him on December 26, 2025, guaranteed the deal in January, and picked up his option for a fifth NBA season. What makes him useful isn't volume; it's that he can punish drop coverage from deep while crashing the offensive glass hard, a rare pairing for a shooting center. He's a role player who earns minutes by doing the unglamorous things cleanly, not by chasing box-score lines.
