He went undrafted in 2020 out of Xavier, clawed up from a two-way deal in New Orleans, and parlayed it into a three-year contract with Dallas in 2024. In 2025-26 he posted a career-high 15.2 points to go with 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in nearly 30 minutes a night — a genuine secondary playmaker who finishes through contact, converting better than two-thirds of his looks inside five feet. The honest caveat is the jumper: his three-point stroke has cooled after a strong New Orleans year, so defenses can still sag off him. His passing, physical defense and interior touch are what keep him on the floor regardless.
