The energy big who made his name in Philadelphia as 'Bball Paul.' A 2020 second-round pick out of DePaul, Reed built his niche on motor — offensive rebounding, weak-side rim protection, and switchable defense in short bursts. His 2022-23 flashes as a fill-in starter behind Joel Embiid earned a three-year offer sheet from Utah in 2023 that Philadelphia matched. The Sixers moved on in 2024; Reed landed in Detroit, and in summer 2025 the Pistons re-signed him to a two-year deal. He spent 2025-26 in Detroit as frontcourt depth behind Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart. The read on Reed: his rebounding rate is genuinely elite for a reserve, but he's at his best in defined minutes — when a game asks him to anchor rather than accent, the gambling instincts that fuel his steals and blocks can pull the defense out of position.
