Pelle Larsson

Pelle Larsson is the kind of player front offices love and highlight reels ignore. The Swedish guard spent his best college years at Arizona, and Miami grabbed him 44th in the 2024 draft betting on his feel and point-of-attack defense. As a rookie he barely scored — around 4.6 points a night — but graded out as one of the Heat's better perimeter stoppers. Then 2025-26 cracked the door open: with Tyler Herro sidelined, Larsson started 54 of 70 games and averaged 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists, doubling as a secondary playmaker. The honest caveat is the jumper — his three-point stroke still sat in the low 30s, so the '3-and-D' label is only half-earned for now. But the defense and decision-making are real, and in Miami that's usually how role players stick.
