Over 12 seasons with the Celtics he won 10 NBA championships, second only to teammate Bill Russell, and was a central figure in Boston's run of eight straight titles from 1959 to 1966. A five-time All-Star, he averaged 17.7 points across 871 games and finished with 15,411 career points, his signature bank shot as reliable as any weapon of his era. Known for saving his best for the biggest moments, Jones was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1984.
