Scoot Henderson

Henderson went third overall in 2023 into a Portland rebuild that has since acquired a great deal of competition at his position. His 2025-26 was shaped by a torn hamstring that cost him the first half of the season; he returned to average 14.2 points and 3.7 assists across 30 games and finished the year as a starter. Portland picked up his $13.59 million option for 2026-27. He remains one of the most physically gifted guards of his draft class, and the question that has followed him since his rookie year — whether the shot and the decisions catch up to the athleticism — is still open, and the crowded depth chart ahead of him narrows the runway to answer it.
