Vince Williams Jr. is the kind of connective wing every contender covets, and Memphis found him in the second round, 47th overall out of VCU in 2022. He turned a two-way deal into a real role, and his 2023-24 breakout (10.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists) showed why: the passing separates him from your typical 3-and-D piece, letting him initiate offense rather than just wait in the corner. The 2025-26 season took hard turns. He opened as a Grizzlies starter, went to Utah in the February Jaren Jackson Jr. trade, then tore his left ACL days later in a collision with Tari Eason.
