His halfcourt buzzer-beater against UCLA in the 2021 Final Four banked in off the backboard and is widely regarded as one of the greatest shots in NCAA tournament history.
Suggs grew up rooting for the Minnesota Timberwolves and has spoken about the irony of being drafted to compete against them in the Eastern Conference.
He is one of only three players in Gonzaga history to lead the program in points, rebounds, and assists in the same season.
