Gary Harris Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans. Harris was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the 19th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, subsequently traded to the Denver Nuggets. He has also played for the Orlando Magic and Milwaukee Bucks.

He won the 2014 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year at Michigan State before becoming one of the NBA's most consistent perimeter defenders for the Denver Nuggets.
Harris was part of the Nikola Vucevic trade to Orlando in 2021 — a deal that gave Denver its franchise center and gave Orlando a veteran defender.
