Moussa Cissé

Cissé was born in Conakry, Guinea — one of West Africa's most passionate basketball nations — and developed through the NBA's Global Academy program in Australia before reaching American college basketball.

He transferred through three different programs (Memphis, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State) — a testament to his ambition to compete at the highest level and find the right developmental environment.

At 6-foot-11 with exceptional timing, Cissé's shot-blocking instincts come naturally — he often blocks shots without leaving his feet, using his wingspan to alter attempts at the rim.

He joins a proud tradition of Guinean NBA players who have made their mark in American basketball despite the limited infrastructure for the sport in their home country.
