Alperen Sengun

Alperen Sengun is the offensive hub of the Houston Rockets and one of the most skilled passing centers in the league. A Turkish big man who won his domestic league's MVP as a teenager before Houston acquired his draft rights in 2021, he has since become a two-time All-Star, in 2025 and again in 2026. In 2025-26 he averaged 20.4 points, 8.9 rebounds and 6.9 assists, and that assist figure is the tell: Houston runs much of its offense through him at the elbow and in the post, where his footwork, soft touch and vision let him score or set up shooters. He is not a rim-running lob threat; his value is old-school skill, reading defenses and orchestrating tempo. Paired with Kevin Durant, he anchors a Rockets team designed around his playmaking.
