Bogdanovic is a Serbian sharpshooter whose game was forged in EuroLeague long before it reached the NBA. He broke in with Sacramento, then spent nearly five seasons in Atlanta as a movement shooter and secondary creator who could swing a game in a three-minute flurry. What lifts him above a pure catch-and-shoot specialist is his footwork coming off screens and his nerve to keep firing when the defense is keyed on him. The 2025-26 campaign was a grind: a hamstring injury from EuroBasket 2025 nagged him all year, and the Clippers got just 23 games out of him at reduced minutes. He reached the 2026 offseason a free agent after Los Angeles declined his option, then agreed to a one-year deal with Houston to shore up its bench scoring.

Did You Know?
Bogdanovic won the EuroLeague MVP award — the highest individual honor in European basketball — at just 23 years old, a feat achieved by fewer than 10 players in the award's history.
He spent nearly a full decade playing in EuroLeague before entering the NBA, making him one of the most experienced and polished international players to join the league in recent years.
Bogdanovic and his cousin Alex Bogdanovic have both had professional basketball careers, making them one of several European basketball families with multiple NBA/professional players.
He wore jersey #44 throughout his EuroLeague career at Fenerbahce and kept it when he signed with the Clippers — a number associated with some of basketball's most cerebral players.
