Caleb Wilson

An Atlanta product from Holy Innocents' Episcopal, where he won Mr. Georgia Basketball and the school's first state title, Wilson reached North Carolina as a five-star recruit and McDonald's All-American. As a freshman he posted 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and roughly a block and a half per game on 57.8% shooting before a fractured right thumb ended his season in early March. A fluid 6'10" forward, he runs the floor, protects the rim, and handles the ball well for his size; a 25.9% mark from three underscores that his jump shot is the developmental priority. Chicago selected him fourth overall, viewing him as a switchable, rim-running big whose two-way versatility fits a modern frontcourt if the perimeter shot arrives.
