After decommitting from Michigan, he spent two seasons at Texas Tech, and as a sophomore averaged 18.5 points and a Big 12-leading 7.4 assists while shooting 47% from the field and 41.5% from three on high volume, earning third-team All-America recognition. Anderson pairs deep, movement-based shooting with live-dribble passing, spacing the floor and running pick-and-roll with poise. At 6'1" with a 6'6" wingspan, his finishing over length and point-of-attack defense are the swing questions. Charlotte selected him 18th overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, adding a shooting lead guard who complements the Hornets' backcourt and can play on or off the ball.
