Daeqwon Plowden is the patient version of the undrafted grind. He never missed a game at Bowling Green — his 154 appearances are a program record — and carried that durability into several pro seasons that were mostly G League before the door cracked open. He made his NBA debut with Atlanta in January 2025 and announced himself by hitting his first seven shots for 19 points, then signed a two-way with Sacramento that summer. The 2025-26 season was the breakthrough: 32 games, seven starts, and just under 11 points a night as a genuine rotation wing, enough that the Kings re-upped him on a two-year deal in the offseason. His three-point shooting dipped to 33% on real volume, so the efficiency needs to firm up — but he takes and makes the shots a floor-spacing wing is asked to, and he finally has an NBA runway to prove it's repeatable.
