Day'Ron Sharpe is a bruising, glass-cleaning backup center who has carved out a role on the Brooklyn Nets with relentless work on the boards. A one-and-done at North Carolina, where he made the ACC All-Freshman team, he was the 29th pick in the 2021 draft — selected by Phoenix and immediately traded to Brooklyn for Landry Shamet. In 2025-26 he set career highs across the board at 8.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals in a career-high 62 games, most of them off the bench, and ranked among the league's better offensive rebounders at nearly three a night.
