Jarace Walker

Walker arrived in Indiana through a draft-night swap — Washington took him eighth in 2023, then shipped his rights to the Pacers. A broad-shouldered 6'7" forward, he's built for the modern switch-everything defense: quick enough to hang with wings, strong enough to bang with bigs, and a genuinely gifted passer for his size. His first two seasons were mostly spot minutes, but in 2025-26 he carved out a real rotation role, posting 11.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists a night while hitting 37% from three. The under-the-radar detail: his value shows up in connective plays — deflections, extra passes, closeouts — that box scores tend to undersell. He was part of Indiana's run to the 2025 Finals, though an ankle injury late in the conference finals clouded his availability.
