Jay Huff

Huff went undrafted out of Virginia in 2021 and spent three seasons on two-way deals with the Lakers, Wizards and Nuggets, winning 2022-23 G League Defensive Player of the Year along the way. Memphis converted his two-way contract into a four-year standard deal in October 2024, then traded him to Indiana in July 2025. With the Pacers he played all 82 games in 2025-26, averaging 9.5 points and 1.9 blocks. A 7-foot-1 center who blocks shots and takes threes is an unusual mix, though his 31.9% from deep last season says the shooting half is still unfinished.
