Jeremiah Fears was one of the youngest players in the 2025 draft, a one-and-done lead guard out of Oklahoma the Pelicans grabbed seventh overall. New Orleans handed him the keys early, and durability became his calling card: he played all 82 games, the first Pelicans rookie ever to do so. He averaged 14.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists, flashing real scoring pop, including a 40-point night against Utah that set the franchise rookie record and made him the youngest guard in NBA history to reach 40. The efficiency and decision-making are still catching up to the talent, which is normal at his age, but the burst and fearlessness earned him All-Rookie Second Team honors.
