Jordan Clarkson

Clarkson won Sixth Man of the Year in 2021 as a high-volume bench scorer, then spent the back half of his career proving the role travels. He signed with New York for a single year at under $4 million and won a championship in 2026, averaging 8.6 points across 72 regular-season games. That is the arc in two sentences: a player paid to create shots for a rebuilding team, ending up as depth on a title one. Very few high-volume scorers accept the second version of the job, and fewer still do it well enough to stay. A ring at 34 on a minimum deal is not the career he was paid for, but it is the one he got.
