Jordan Goodwin has carved out an NBA role the hard way, as an undersized guard who rebounds and defends like someone four inches taller. At Saint Louis he recorded the program's first triple-double and ranked among the nation's best rebounding guards, then went undrafted in 2021. From there it was Washington, a trip to Phoenix in the Bradley Beal trade, a two-way stint in Memphis, and a season in Los Angeles before he rejoined the Suns off waivers in 2025. His 2025-26 campaign was his most complete: 70 games, 8.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and a career-best 37% from three that finally gave his defense-first game an offensive counterweight. Phoenix bet on the growth, re-signing him to a reported three-year deal in June 2026.
