Julian Reese

Julian Reese went undrafted in 2025, and by spring he was out-rebounding lottery picks. The Maryland product — yes, Angel Reese's younger brother — bounced from a Lakers summer roster to an Exhibit 10 in Toronto before Washington handed him a two-way deal in late February. Then he made the Wizards look smart. Across 13 appearances he averaged a double-double, roughly 12 points and 11 boards, including an 18-point, 20-rebound night against Utah that made him the first Wizard since Antawn Jamison in 2010 to grab ten offensive and ten defensive rebounds in one game. What stands out isn't the counting stats but the motor: Reese chases every miss and finishes through contact. The rebounding already translates; his shooting range is the swing skill.
