Oubre gave Philadelphia three seasons and 178 games, 150 of them starts, averaging 14.9 points and 5.4 rebounds — useful production undercut throughout by 32 percent three-point shooting across the span. Then 2025-26 offered the counter-argument: 14.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals over 50 games while hitting a career-best 36.0 percent from deep. He signed a two-year deal worth close to $17 million with Indiana. He has always been a genuinely disruptive defender; whether the shot holds at that improved number decides what the rest of his career looks like. A wing who defends and shoots 36 percent is a rotation piece on a contender; at 32 percent he is a problem to solve.
