Kyle Kuzma

Kuzma won a championship with the Lakers in 2020, averaging 8.5 points across six Finals games in a bench role on a team built around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Traded to Washington in the Russell Westbrook package in August 2021, he became a volume scorer on bad teams — a role that inflates numbers and clarifies very little. Across 610 games he has averaged 16.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists, and he now plays for Milwaukee. The interesting question about him has always been which version is real: the useful fourth option on a contender, or the 20-a-game option on a lottery team. Milwaukee signed him to find out on a roster where he is emphatically not the first option.
