Malevy Leons took the long road from IJmuiden, Netherlands to the NBA — junior college at Mineral Area, then Bradley, where he claimed back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year awards in 2023 and 2024. That defensive identity is his calling card: a rangy 6'9" forward who guards multiple positions and rebounds his area and beyond. After a six-game cup of coffee with Oklahoma City in 2024-25, he signed a two-way with Golden State in December 2025, and his G League production this season (near 15 points and eight rebounds a night with a respectable three-point stroke) hints at more offense than the defensive label implies. There's a nice footnote, too — pairing with countryman Quinten Post gave the Warriors the NBA's first Dutch teammate duo since 2009.
