Moses Moody is a long, two-way wing who has spent his entire career with the Golden State Warriors, the 14th pick in the 2021 draft out of Arkansas. Known for his defense and a smooth catch-and-shoot stroke, he broke through in 2025-26 with a career-high 12.1 points a game while finally crossing 40% from three (40.1%) on career-high volume, earning 49 starts. His season ended early with a torn patellar tendon in late March, but the leap was real — Moody looked like a rotation mainstay who fits any lineup, spacing the floor and taking on tough perimeter assignments. He has two years left on his deal in Golden State.

Defensive Game
Length and athleticism make him a capable defender on multiple wing positions. Active hands generate deflections and steals. His defensive intensity has improved each season in the Warriors system.
Intangibles
Smart player who has absorbed the Warriors' complex system quickly. Understands spacing, reads transition opportunities well, and has shown growing savvy in learning when to attack versus when to swing the ball.

Did You Know?
Both of his parents were college athletes — his father Eric played football at Georgia Tech and his mother DeAnn played volleyball, giving Moses an unusually strong foundation of athletic discipline from birth.
Moody chose the University of Arkansas over offers from multiple blue-blood programs, a decision shaped in part by the desire to help build something rather than simply join an established powerhouse.
His wingspan extends several inches beyond his height, a physical trait that makes him one of the more versatile wing defenders on a Warriors team that prioritizes positional switching.
At 19 years old, Moses Moody became an NBA Champion in his rookie season with the Warriors in 2021-22 — one of the youngest players on a title team that season.
