A Manassas, Virginia product and the highest-ranked recruit in Tennessee history, Ament arrived in Knoxville as a consensus five-star and the No. 4 player in the 2025 class. As a freshman he started all 35 games and averaged 16.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals on 40/33/79 shooting, earning Second-team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman honors while helping the Volunteers reach the Elite Eight. Standing 6'10" with guard skills, he handles the ball, initiates offense, gets downhill against bigger defenders and blocks shots as a help defender; he must add strength, tighten his outside efficiency and sharpen his decision-making. Miami selected him 13th overall and traded his draft rights to Milwaukee as part of the Giannis Antetokounmpo deal, and the Bucks view him as a high-upside developmental forward to build around in their post-Giannis rebuild.
