Naz Reid built one of the most improbable careers of his generation. Undrafted out of LSU in 2019, he signed a two-way deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves and turned himself into the 2023-24 NBA Sixth Man of the Year — a stretch big who averaged 13.5 points on a career-high 41.4% from three for a Timberwolves team that reached the Western Conference finals. His blend of touch, size and rim-running made "Naz Reid" a rallying cry all its own in Minnesota. In the summer of 2026 he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets as the centerpiece of the deal that sent LaMelo Ball to Minnesota. For his career he has averaged 11.9 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting 37% from three.
