Onyeka Okongwu

Onyeka Okongwu is a springy, switchable center who broke out for the Atlanta Hawks in 2025-26 after several seasons as a high-energy reserve. The sixth overall pick in the 2020 draft out of USC, he moved into a full-time starting role and averaged 15.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and better than a block and a steal a night, while stretching his game to hit 37.6% from three. His combination of rim protection, vertical finishing and an expanding jumper made him one of Atlanta's most important young pieces, and he carried that form into the playoffs with 12.5 points and 6.7 rebounds a game. At 25, his arrow is still pointing up.
