Jackson took the long road: undrafted out of Texas A&M in 2022, then a grind through Exhibit 10 and G League stops with Washington's Go-Go and Chicago's Windy City Bulls before Indiana bet on his two-way deal in March 2024. The calling card was always defense — his length and steal instincts got him NBA looks while the offense caught up. It did. He made his first start in November 2024 with a 24-point night on 10-of-12 shooting, then dropped 25 points and 10 assists on Golden State to open 2025-26, showing real growth as a downhill playmaker. The Pacers rewarded him on Feb 27, 2026 with a three-year standard contract, and he closed the season at 9.1 points and 2.9 assists across 49 games — a two-way project who turned into a real rotation guard.
