Rasheer Fleming

Fleming fits a specific need Phoenix has chased for years: a long, switchable forward. At 6-8 with a wingspan reported north of 7-5, the Saint Joseph's product profiles as exactly the kind of 3-and-D piece the Suns have lacked. He arrived via the 2025 draft as the 31st pick — the first selection of the second round — drafted by Minnesota and immediately routed to Phoenix. His rookie year was a study in patience: 55 games but only 12.2 minutes a night (4.3 points, 2.3 rebounds), with playing time that swelled in March and shrank again in April. The flashes were real, though — corner threes, weak-side shot-blocking, and a season-ending statement in his lone start, a 16-point, 4-of-7-from-deep line at Oklahoma City. The tools say rotation player; the consistency is the next hurdle.
