Dennis is a pass-first lead guard whose calling card has always been distribution, a college run that carried him from Boise State to Toledo to a final season at Baylor. Undrafted in 2024, he has lived the churn of the NBA's margins ever since, cycling through two-way arrangements with the Pacers, Clippers and Hawks organizations. The G League is where his game pops: with the College Park Skyhawks in 2025-26 he made the All-NBA G League Third Team and dropped a 46-point, 15-assist night against Delaware in January. His vision and pace are legitimate NBA-caliber tools; the familiar hurdles for a smaller lead guard are finishing over length and holding up defensively, which is what keeps him shuttling between call-ups rather than sticking. Entering the 2026 offseason his footing remains a prove-it proposition.
