Tyler Kolek's game is old-school in the best sense: a pass-first floor general who sees plays before they happen. He was the Big East Player of the Year at Marquette and led all of college basketball in assists as a senior, the kind of table-setting resume that made him a value pick at 34th in 2024 (drafted by Portland, traded to New York). The NBA jump has been a patience test. In 2025-26 he played spot minutes — 11.7 a night over 62 games — and lost rotation time after the Knicks added Jose Alvarado. The consolation is a big one: he's an NBA champion, part of the New York team that took the 2026 title.
