His pre-free throw routine — touching his cheek — became one of the most recognizable habits in NBA history. He said it was a wave to his three kids watching at home.
Was acquired from Phoenix in a 1994 trade and immediately became the third member of the Jazz's offensive core alongside Stockton and Malone.
Later became a successful NBA head coach, which made complete sense given how much he understood the game as a player.
