Numéros accrochés aux chevrons de Capital One Arena. Les joueurs qui ont tout donné pour Washington Wizards.
The Washington Wizards franchise has operated under several names since its founding in 1961 as the Chicago Packers. After becoming the Baltimore Bullets and then the Capital/Washington Bullets, the team won its only NBA championship in 1978 behind Wes Unseld and Elvin Hayes. The franchise rebranded as the Wizards in 1997. Michael Jordan came out of retirement to play two seasons (2001-2003). Gilbert Arenas brought excitement with his "Agent Zero" persona in the mid-2000s. John Wall and Bradley Beal formed a dynamic backcourt for nearly a decade. The franchise is currently rebuilding with young talent, looking to establish a new competitive era in the nation's capital.
