Brook Lopez

Brook and his twin brother Robin Lopez are one of only a handful of twin pairs to both be drafted in the same NBA Draft — both in 2008, Brook 10th by New Jersey and Robin 15th by Phoenix.

Lopez is known throughout the NBA for his passion for theme parks and comic books — he has been photographed at Disneyland more times than arguably any active player and has discussed his love of Marvel characters in interviews.

He transformed from a conventional post center into a floor-spacing shot-blocker at age 29 — one of the oldest successful positional reinventions in recent NBA history.

Lopez's combination of 200+ blocks and 200+ three-point attempts in a single season was considered statistically impossible before he achieved it — redefining what a modern NBA center could be.
