Ausar XLNC Thompson ist ein amerikanischer professioneller Basketballspieler für die Detroit Pistons in der National Basketball Association (NBA). Er spielte Highschool-Basketball für die Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, wo er als Fünf-Sterne-Rekrut eingestuft wurde und einen Bundesstaatstitel gewann. Zusammen mit seinem Zwillingsbruder Amen Thompson unterschrieb er direkt nach der Highschool bei der Entwicklungsliga Overtime Elite (OTE). Dort gewann er zwei OTE-Titel in Folge, wurde zweimal zum wertvollsten Spieler der Finals (MVP) ernannt und 2023 zum Liga-MVP gekürt. Thompson wurde im NBA Draft 2023 von den Pistons an fünfter Stelle insgesamt ausgewählt. In der NBA-Saison 2025/26 führte er die NBA in Steals an und wurde in das NBA All-Defensive First Team berufen.
