Dejounte Dashaun Murray ist ein amerikanischer Profi-Basketballspieler für die New Orleans Pelicans der National Basketball Association (NBA). Murray grew up in one of Seattle's toughest neighborhoods and channeled the hardship of his father's incarceration into the relentless work ethic that defines his career.
He played at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle — the same program that produced Jamal Crawford and Isaiah Thomas.
Murray suffered a torn ACL early in his first Pelicans season (2024-25) — a devastating setback that robbed New Orleans of its key acquisition before the team could evaluate the pairing with Williamson.
He is one of only a handful of players in NBA history to average at least 20 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals in a season.
