Cam Johnson

Johnson was the eleventh pick in 2019 by Minnesota and traded to Phoenix on draft night, which set the pattern: three seasons with the Suns, a move to Brooklyn in February 2023, then Denver in July 2025. Across 394 games he has averaged 12.8 points and 3.9 rebounds. His first season with the Nuggets produced 12.2 points and 2.0 threes a game on a career-high 43.0 percent from deep — precisely the shooting a pass-first offence is built to convert into easy points. He enters 2026-27 as a starter. Six seasons in and he has never been the reason a team wins or loses, which is closer to praise than it sounds for a fourth option.
