Collin Sexton

Sexton has averaged 18.3 points and 3.6 assists across 475 games, a scoring guard whose career has been a tour of the league's middle: Cleveland from 2018, Utah from 2022, Charlotte, a brief stop in Chicago, and a two-year deal with the Lakers signed in July 2026. He averaged 15.4 points in 2025-26. The pattern is consistent — he scores efficiently enough to be wanted and is rarely the player a team builds around, which is how a 20-point scorer ends up changing addresses this often. That is not a criticism so much as a description of a specific and well-paid role: the guard you add when your bench cannot create its own shot.
