Austin Reaves is one of the NBA's best undrafted success stories — a crafty, shot-making guard who has become a primary option for the Los Angeles Lakers. Unheralded out of Arkansas in 2021, he raised his scoring average every season, culminating in a career-high 23.3 points to go with 5.5 assists in 2025-26 — the highest scoring average by an undrafted player since Moses Malone in 1985-86. He scored in double figures in all 51 of his appearances that season, including a 51-point night in Sacramento, and signed a four-year deal to stay in Los Angeles. Reaves' pick-and-roll craft, deep range and fearless shot-making have made him far more than a role player.
