E.J. Liddell's pro career has been a study in resilience. A third-team All-American and first-team All-Big Ten force at Ohio State, he was a 2022 second-round pick of New Orleans — then tore his right ACL in Summer League before playing a rookie minute. The years since have been a scramble for footing: New Orleans, a Phoenix detour, a Chicago two-way, and in 2025-26 a two-way deal with an injury-thinned Brooklyn team that finally gave him steady run across 26 games. Liddell's game is built for the modern four — a sturdy 6'6", 240-pound frame, shot-blocking instincts, and enough range to stretch the floor. In June 2026 he signed a two-year deal with Aris in Greece to chase a featured role, keeping an NBA-return clause in his pocket.
